# Decision

Send incoming rows to different paths based on conditions or formulas. Add **Decision** from **Logic** in the action editor.

## Configuration

**1. Name the Action Node**

Edit the action node and enter a **Label**.

**2. Add a Branch**

Add a condition branch or a formula branch.

**3. Configure Each Branch**

Give each branch a label and configure its filters or Boolean formula.

**4. Order the Branches**

Drag rule branches into the order they should be evaluated.

**5. Keep a Default Branch**

Keep a **Default** branch for rows that do not match a rule.

**6. Apply and Connect**

Click **Apply**, then connect each branch output to its next action node.

A condition branch uses field comparisons and filter logic. A formula branch matches only when its formula returns **true**.

## Execution

Each row goes to the **first matching rule branch**. Different rows can activate different branches in the same run.

Rows that match no rule go to **Default**. If there are no incoming rows, the default path can run with an empty row set. Action nodes on that path still enforce their own row requirements.

Only the rows assigned to a branch are passed along that path. Grid-wide action nodes such as **Save** and **Discard** still affect all pending grid edits.

## Example

For an Opportunities grid, add a condition branch for closed opportunities and connect it to **Stop**. Connect **Default** to **Run Flow** to process the remaining opportunities.
