# Show Message

Display a notification when this action node is reached. Add **Show Message** from **Interactions** in the action editor.

## Configuration

| Field | Description |
| - | - |
| **Label** | Name shown on the action node. |
| **Type** | **Info**, **Success**, **Warning**, or **Error**. |
| **Message** | Text to display. |

Enter the label and message, then click **Apply**.

## Execution

The message is displayed and the workflow continues without waiting for a response. Row selection is not required.

The message is fixed text. Choosing **Error** changes the notification style; it does not fail or stop the workflow. Use [Confirm](https://coconut-grid.mintlify.site/actions/confirm.md) to wait for user approval or [Stop](https://coconut-grid.mintlify.site/actions/stop.md) to end a path.
