# Licensing

A license is automatically created when Coconut Grid is installed. Each user must have a license to use the app.

## Assign Licenses from Installed Packages

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Installed Packages">
    Go to `Setup` → `Installed Packages`.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Manage Licenses">
    Find `Coconut Grid` in the list and click **Manage Licenses**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add users">
    Click **Add Users**, select the users you want to assign licenses to, then click **Add**.

## Assign a License from a User Record

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the user">
    Go to `Setup` → `Users`, then select a user.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Assign Licenses">
    In the `Managed Packages` section, click **Assign Licenses**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assign Coconut Grid">
    Select `Coconut Grid`, then click **Add** to assign the license.
